- Meditation

- Always working towards simplification, distilling my life to its most important components

- Motivation CDs, DVDs, YouTube videos, etc.

- Relaxation hypnosis

- Having a pet

- Doing things in spite of what I'm feeling

- Not setting myself up to fail, feeling OK saying no

- Being your best friend as cheesy as that sounds

- Planning things to look forward to

- Planning fun things that will cause growth

- Traveling

- Eating healthy. Lots and lots of vegetable and chicken stir fries for me

- Eliminating toxic relationships from my life. If not 100% possible limiting my exposure to these people. I realized that not everyone can change or is ready to change. If someone makes you feel bad about yourself sometimes the only solution is space. Physical distance is something you can control, you cannot change someone until they are ready to make that change.

- Living in the moment

- Celebrating small victories

- Being grateful for the things I do have

- Realizing thoughts are actual things. I'm now very careful what kind of information I feed my mind and I'm also very careful about negative thoughts. For example I used to work with TV news in the background, but now limit my exposure to TV news to about 30 min. per day. I prefer to read news. Also, negatively I realized is a learned habit. Negativity is really your anxiousness manifesting as thoughts, it's fear based thinking. Trying to stay positive is more productive and beneficial to your well being.

- Realizing the anxiety and being anxious is really just fear based thinking. It's lower level 'fight or flight' thinking. Thinking positive is not naive it's actually a more elevated consciousness because it's not fear based, primal, anxious thinking.

- Respecting yourself. If you don't no one else will. Respect really starts with you

- Helping others. Anxiety causing selfishness I think. Anxiety makes you acutely aware of yourself. In the process of helping others you can lose yourself which is very cathartic for those suffering from anxiety.
